libpdf-fdf-simple-perl software package provides Perl module to read and write (Acrobat) FDF files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpdf-fdf-simple-perl
libpdf-fdf-simple-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpdf-fdf-simple-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpdf-fdf-simple-perl *
You will get with libpdf-fdf-simple-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
